In honour of the 20-year anniversary of the original version of the Tamagochi, the Japanese company Bandai overshadowed a toy with an electronic pocket pizza. The new version of the device is twice as original and allows for the settlement of one of the six characters, Mashable.
The value of the updated Tamagochi was 1,500 yen (approximately $14). Twitter users say it's very difficult to find a toy in stores because they're almost all bought.
Bandai released the first Tamagochi in 1996. It was a miniature electronic device, a reminiscent egg, a black and white screen and three buttons. The fourth button was located on the rear panel and served to reload the device.
